The Hariyali Amavasya Mela is to be organized on 18^th and 19^th July. The auction for the plots for the stalls in the Fair was cancelled today and will now take place tomorrow.

The auction for the 238 plots at Fateh Sagar and about 300 at Saheliyon ki Bari was supposed to take place today at Fateh Sagar but was called off.

Satyanarayan Acharya, Commissioner, UMC informed UT, “We have called off the auction today because of the low turnout of participants. The auction will now take place tomorrow at 11:00 AM for Fateh Sagar’s Pal and 1:00 PM for Saheliyon ki Bari. We are aiming for proper organization of the Fair.”

Another official from Revenue Department of UMC Archana Sharma, President of the Revenue Committee said, “This year UMC has decided to take up the responsibility of parking at the Fair given some reports of stolen vehicles last year. We, from your website, would like to request whoever is interested to attend the auction tomorrow”.

UMC will ensure that services like drinking water are provided in the Fair and make proper arrangements for the cleanliness at both spots. Police will be at the Fair to act in case of emergency.
