Bohras Celebrates Eid, Muslims to observe on 27th Oct
Eid ul Adha, the festival of sacrifice has been celebrated by the Dawoodi bohra community today, after conducting the Eid Namaz in various Mosques situated in the city, the community members exchanged wishes and observed the ritual of sacrificing the goat.

Eid ul Adha, the festival of sacrifice has been celebrated by the Dawoodi bohra community today, after conducting the Eid Namaz in various Mosques situated in the city, the community members exchanged wishes and observed the ritual of sacrificing the goat.
Eid ul Adha, also known as Bakri Eid and Eid ul Kabir is celebrated by Muslims all over the world, there are many historical events attached to Eid ul Adha, most importantly, it is celebrated every year after the pilgrimage of Hajj is complete. The festival is also closely related to the ancient incident of Prophet Ibrahim and his son Prophet Ismail.
Muslims of Udaipur will celebrate the festival on Saturday the 27th of Oct. Public holiday is declared on the occasion.
