Festive time of Udaipur is back. Over the next month and a half Udaipur will play host to a variety of festivals including Lake Festival, Bird Festival, Shilpgram Utsav, Rajasthan Digifest and Flower exhibition.

The festivities will kick off with the Lake Festival on 18-19 November. Lake festival will host a variety of water sports and cultural festivities along with puppet shows. There will a special performance of Police Band on double-decker boat in Fateh Sagar. There will also be a mega celebrity night at Fateh Sagar Paal to wrap up the festival.

Rajasthan Digifest will line up next in the second week of December. Two day Digifest will showcase talent of engineering and technology students from all over the country. The fest is proposed to be conducted at MLSU campus.

Like every year Shilpgram Festival will be held from 21-30 December. The festival will again showcase artisans and performers from over 10 states across the country. Shilpgram festival has been a huge crowd puller over years and is expected to be no different this year.

Udaipur Bird Festival is planned from 22Dec to 25Dec. For the first time, there will be a bird race organised as part of the festival. There will also be a competition held between bird lovers during the festival. Rahul Bhatnagar, Chief Forest Conservator, informed that there will be a on the spot bird photography event for ladies and poster competition for kids. There will also be a stamp exhibition organised at Soochna Kendra.

Finally, flower exhibition will be organised at Fateh Sagar Paal in the last week of December. The exhibition will showcase a wide variety of flowers. On the occasion, UIT will also distribute free plants to citizens of Udaipur.
