Celebration of Christmas, one of the biggest festivals of Christian community, started with X-Mas Midnight Service on the eve before the big day. Pastors of Shepherd Memorial Church as well as other churches chanted phrases from Holy Bible.

Today on 24^th December, on the eve before Christmas, phrases from Holy Bible and Christmas Carols echoed at Shepherd Memorial and every other church around town. All the churches of city are decorated lavishly with lights and crisps showcasing birth of Jesus Christ.

According to Parminas Mathews, Spokesperson of Shepherd Memorial, in the celebration today, X-Mas Midnight Service was offered, whereas in the morning on 25^th December same prayers will be repeated, thereafter wishes of Christmas will be exchanged among individuals of the community.
