Climber Mansvi Agrawal Given Grand Welcome in Udaipur

Udaipur, Feb 12, 2026 - Young mountaineer Mansvi Agrawal, who has hoisted the Indian tricolour on the highest peaks of four continents, was given a grand welcome on Wednesday (February 11) on her return to her hometown Udaipur after this achievement. The welcome ceremony was held at the Lokmanya Tilak Teacher Training College, a constituent institution of Rajasthan Vidyapeeth,

After the felicitation, Mansvi held an interactive session with youth and students talking about hard work, success and failure and also shared her experiences. Speaking about her achievements, the successful mountaineer said that a person’s efforts, hard work and determination are what make them extraordinary.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Shiv Singh Sarangdevot congratulated Mansvi on behalf of the university saying she has made Mewar famous not only in the country but across the world.

The programme began with a welcome of the guests by Principal Prof. Saroj Garg who detailed the conquests of the climber in less than five months:

  • Mount Elbrus (5,642 m) in Europe
  • Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895 m) in Africa
  • Vinson Massif (4,892 m) in Antarctica
  • Aconcagua (6,961 m) in South America

Present on the occasion were senior finance officer TR Agrawal, Dr Saroj Gupta, Laghu Bharti coordinator Manoj Joshi, Dr Om Parik, Dr Shailendra Somani (MDS Director) and other distinguished guests.

The programme was conducted by Dr Harish Chaubisa; a Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr Puneet Pandya.
