Prior to the upcoming elections for the Vidhan Sabha in Rajasthan, this tour of CM Raje is being seen as her attempt to connect with the public.

Chief Minister of Rajasthan Vasundhara Raje has arrived in Udaipur to attend the wedding of the nephew of State BJP President Ashok Parnami.  Her itenary in the region is of 4 days.

Raje was welcomed at the Maharana Pratap Airport by Education Minister Kiran Maheshwari, Dhan Singh Rawat, Srichand Kripalani among others from the BJP. District Collector Bishnu Charan Mallick, Udaipur range IG Anand Srivastave and Udaipur SP Rajendra Prasad Goyal were also present at the airport as a part of the welcome committee.  She will be lodged at Ananta Resort during her brief stay in the City of Lakes.

During her 4 day trip, she will pay homage at the Sanwaliya Seth Temple and after attending the ceremony at the Temple, will proceed to Dungarpur.  She will inaugurate the statue of Maharana Pratap at the Pratap Circle in Dungarpur before addressing a public meet at the Rajmata Vijarayaraje Sindhia auditorium.

Tomorrow, she will proceed to Sagwara, where she will pay homage at the Raghunath Temple in Bhiluda prior to addressing a public gathering in town.

This will be followed by her visit to Simalwada on Wednesday and Asalpur on Thursday before she leaves for Jaipur in the evening on Thursday.
