Devotees Celebrate Sagasji Bawji Janmotsav
The 486th Janmotsav of Sagasji Bawji, a local deity of Mewar was celebrated today with utmost zeal and devotion. The temple of Sagasji situated at Picholi was flooded with devotees; hundreds of people were standing in long queue just to get a glimpse of Sagasji’s adorned idol.

As informed by priest of the temple, after the morning rituals and Abhishek, a Mahabhog was presented to the deity. The whole temple was decorated along with the nearby markets. A Bhajan Party sung hymns after the morning ritualistic chores, which mesmerized the devotees.
The auspicious event of Janmotsav started with the installation of Ganpati idol (Ganpati Sthapana) and then the rituals to celebrate the occasion started.
A Ratri Jaagran will be organized tonight, in which, artists from Ahmedabad will perform Bhajans. Mahaprasadi will be organized on Saturday.
