The auspicious festival of Easter was celebrated today in Udaipur’s churches. On this day, Christians celebrate resurrection of Jesus from Crucifixion.

The morning prayers started at 5am at Shepherd Memorial Church, Chetak. The Easter sunrise worship was conducted by Brother Vinay Arvind, Rev. Raimson Victor and Deacon Ajay Damor. Thereafter, at 9 am Easter Morning Worship was conducted by Brother Vinay Anand.

Several religious programs and prayers have been taking place from last one week which included Palm Sunday, Holy Monday- Tuesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Eve.

Easter Fair was held after the morning worship and the community feast is scheduled in the evening.
