Mumbai-based couple Shaurya and Sanjana Mehta took their obsession with TV Series, Game of Thrones (GoT) the complete distance by having a Game of Thrones themed Sangeet party for their wedding. The couple put the same house banners, Valyrian swords, dragon egg replicas and the Iron Throne.

Shaurya, the groom, had originally come up with the idea. He said, “I first thought of it for the wedding and the very next thought of ‘The Red Wedding’ got me to choose it for the Cocktail / Sangeet.”

Shaurya and Sanjana made a grand entry on the song “Winds of Winter”

The set was made over a week in Mumbai and was transferred to Udaipur in a lorry. Shaurya said that his Iron Throne on the stage remained a prized possession.
