Beyonce probably took as much (or even more) of the center stage than the to-be bride and groom during the Isha Ambani-Anand Parimal pre wedding Sangeet function in Udaipur. A lot of speculations have been made about what Beyonce would have charged for performing in the pre-wedding Sangeet function.

Multiple figures have been reported across media houses and social media channels about the performance fees. The consensus however seems to be around $3 to $4 Mn. That is ~Rs 21 Cr to Rs 28 Cr.

Time Magazine quoted that Beyonce charged over $3 Mn to peform at this year’s Coachella festival. There however have been estimates pegging her performance rate at $4 Mn.

While the amount may seem outrageous, Beyonce is still not the costliest celebrity. Jennifer Lopez still rules the world on that count and her performance rates go upto $5 Mn (Rs 35 Cr).

Bloomberg recently reported that Mukesh Ambani shelled out $100 Mn for Isha’s wedding celebrations.
