Guru Purnima was celebrated today much fan fare across several schools in Udaipur
Central Public School, New Bhupalpura held the festivities in authentic ancient Indian tradition at their campus. Alok Sansthan celebrated Guru Purnima at the Alok Senior Secondary School, Hiran Magri-Sector 11.

Alka Sharma, Principal – CPS, called on the students to rejuvenate the rich Indian tradition and the Guru Parampara. She also said that honoring teachers from Vedic routine brings a sense of trust for teachers in the minds of students and with that trust one can live his/her entire life with ease.
At CPS, the Chief Guest Prashant Agrawal, Director – Narayan Seva Sansthan, was overwhelmed to see the program and showered praise on the vedic methodology followed.
The program at Alok School commenced with a lamp lighting ceremony led by Dr. Pradeep Kumavat, Director, Alok Sansthan and Shyamlal Kumawat, Chairman, Alok Sansthan.
Dr. Kumavat, in his speech to the students said, “Teachers are the people who destroy darkness from the lives of students and works devotedly for the future of the students.” He added, “A real Guru(Teacher) works for the welfare of the students without expecting anything in return.”
All the students from both the schools were part of the celebrations. Many students expressed their gratitude for teachers. Each class also expressed their regards to their class teachers by garlanding them.
The celebration at Alok school was also attended by alumni & teachers of the school.
