Udaipur, March 2, 2026: While many States in India have declared March 3 and 4 as the dates for Holi, in Rajasthan the two-day colour festival of Holi will start on Monday (March 2) with Holika Dahan. Dhulandi will be celebrated on Tuesday (March 3).

According to scriptures, the most auspicious time for Holika Puja and Dahan on Monday, March 2, during Pradosh Kaal is from 6:34 pm to 6:46 pm. Additionally, it can be performed during Bhadra Puccha from 1:23 am to 2:34 am, and after the end of Bhadra from 5:28 am to 6:20 am.

Because of the eclipse on March 3, temples will celebrate Rangotsav on March 4. The lunar eclipse will last from 3:21 pm to 6:47 pm (4 hours and 26 minutes) on March 3, but it will not have any significant impact on Dhulandi.
