Independence Day was celebrated with joy and fervor at the headquarters of Hindustan Zinc Limited.

Company Secretary Rajendra Pandwal hoisted the flag and extended his greetings to all employees and their family members. 

Pandwal in his short address remembered the sacrifices of thousands of patriotic people as a result of which India became a free nation on 15th Aug 1947.

While informing about the contribution of HZL in various works of development, Pandwal said that a sewerage treatment plant has already been started in Udaipur along with a campaign “Nirmal Bharat Abhiyan” in which HZL is going to make 30000 public toilets in rural areas of four districts.

He further informed that HZL is also focusing on environment protection, social and rural development besides providing financial support.
