On the occasion of Durga Ashtami today, Narayan Seva Sansthan observed a grand program of Kanya Pooja at the Badi center of the Sansthan.

701 Girls were worshipped with all the rituals. All girls came from several parts of the country for polio treatment.

Prashant Agarwal, director of the organization informed that, the program was started at morning 9:15 with the ritual of Yagya, thereafter, pooja was done. The girl child is worshipped as they represent the avatar of Goddess Durga.

Divisional Commissioner Subodh Kumar Agarwal and his wife Rolly Agarwal were the chief guest of the program. Other prominent guests were Professor Dr. Gayatru Tiwari from Home Science College, Sanjay Choudhary from Nepal, Govind Ram Banka from Kolakata, Pawan Gerotriya and Vimal Kumar.
