The festival of Janmashtami was celebrated with utmost fervor as the crowd of thousands witnessed the traditional event of Dahi Handi at Jagdish Chowk today evening. Youth groups arrived one after another and tried to break down the earthen pot hanged on 25 ft height.

The team of Om Sai Ram Club, Jagdish Chowk succeeded breaking the pot and winning cash prize of Rs.21,000 by Pacific University.

A series of cultural programs consisting of dance and music were performed before the  Matki Fod competition.

Organized by Dharmostav Seva Samiti, the program was attended by Mayor Rajni Dangi, Mahant Bhim Singh Chouhan and Rahul Agarwal of Pacific University.
