The series of religious events on Birth Anniversary of Lord Parshurama began with a Maha Arti and lighting 151 lamps at Udiapol today, organized by Menaria Community where hundreds of community members participated.

The series of religious events on Birth Anniversary of Lord Parshurama began with a Maha Arti and lighting 151 lamps at Udiapol, Udaipur today, organized by Menaria Community where hundreds of community members participated.

According to K.K Sharma, General Secretary, Menaria Community, “Individuals in large numbers gathered near the idol of Lord Parshurama for the Maha Arti. Prior to that, community members also lighted 151 lamps on the occasion.”

In the series of events, on second day 1st May ‘Ganga Arti’ will be organized at Gangaur Ghat by women folk of community in evening around 6.30 pm. While on 2nd May, idol of Parshurama will be given a holy bath with milk followed by a special prayer and hawan. Same will be organized by Chanakya family at Vallabhacharya Park Sector-11.

On fourth day of celebration, blood donation will be organized by Yuva Parkosht at Nimbark University in morning around 10.30 am. While on last day of the event 4th May, a mass procession will be organized which will be followed by a community dinner.
