District Collector Namit Mehta urges the general public to actively participate in the Vande Mataram @150 campaign
Udaipur, Jan 22, 2026 - Under the directions of the Government of India’s Ministry of Culture, various programmes and activities are being organised across the State to mark the completion of 150 years of the national song, Vande Mataram. As part of the second phase, from 23 to 26 January 23-26, creative, cultural and participatory activities themed Vande Mataram @150 will be organised at the district, sub-division and panchayat levels.
District Collector Namit Mehta has said that the general public can participate in the Vande Mataram @150 campaign online. By visiting the portal www.vandemataram150.in and selecting the Selfie with Lyrics option, citizens can fill in their brief details and upload their selfie through the Capture Moment feature. By choosing the Sing Along Feature, participants can register and record their rendition of the Vande Mataram song.
Additionally, the public can participate in the Vande Mataram – 150 Years Quiz. The online quiz is available at https://quiz.mygov.in/quiz/vande-mataram-150-years-quiz
Collector Mehta has urged the general public, elected representatives, freedom fighters and their families, social and religious organisations, panchayat members, NCC, NSS, Scouts & Guides, educational institutions and voluntary organisations to actively participate in the Vande Mataram @150 campaign and contribute to strengthening patriotism and national awareness.
