The third fair of Sukhiya Somvar was enjoyed by people gathered at Gulab Bagh Garden today.  The pleasant weather has turned the fair into a remarkable family get-together.

According to reliable sources, Fair of Sukhia Somvar are marked in the Hindu month of Saavan’s first Monday (Somvar in Hindi) this tradition has been observed from decade of years in the city of lakes.

People gathered in huge numbers with their family friends and relatives and enjoyed the eateries, bought refreshments and rejoiced in amusement and joy.

Today the weather also turned pleasant and seemed to be supporting the crowd giving them relief from the scorching heat, little showers of rain increased the excitement of the youth.
