A large procession was carried today by Muslim community of Udaipur to mark the auspicious occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi – Birthday of Prophet Muhammad.

The procession started late afternoon from Anjuman Chowk and concluded at Dargah Imrat Rasool Baba.

Hundreds and thousands of devotees participated in the procession and celebrated the day with utmost devotion and love. Several groups of people from their respective localities gathered at Anjuman Chowk to make a huge gathering and proceeded in the form of procession through city areas.

Dressed in the traditional attires, Muslim men and children were seen rejoicing and chanting the slogans in memory of Prophet Muhammad.

Procession also received warm welcome in a traditional manner at different places Almost all social and religious organizations of Muslims contributed in making the event successful. Administrative officers also extended their greetings on the occasion.
