The nine days festival of Navratri concluded today with a grand procession of Goddess Durga carried out by Sutharwada Mitra Mandal.
The nine days festival of Navratri concluded today with a grand procession of Goddess Durga carried out by Sutharwada Mitra Mandal.
The procession turned more beautiful due to participation of several groups of folk dancers, stunt artists and musicians from Madhya Pradesh, Punjab and Gujarat.
Located in the old city area of Sutharwada, the Navratri Celebration is well known in the area due to massive decoration, management and coordination of the local residents.
The program begin today afternoon by Yagya and Arti followed by procession which passed through Dholi Bawdi, Mandi, Bada Bazar, Ghanta Ghar, Jagdish Chowk and ended at Gangaur Ghat by dipping the idols of Goddess as a part of ritual.
