It came to the farthest surprise for locals of Dhanmandi, one of the most crowded areas in Udaipur surrounded by vegetable & spices traders and traditional craftsmen, when three people dressed in bright pink frocks acting funny appeared in the middle of the road.

Before anyone could get what’s going on, one of the funny men jumped over a garbage truck while other two (a man and a woman) started dancing.

The humorous act was part of the four day long street theatre show – “The Very Good Festival”.

More than 30 artists from France and Morocco are participating in various fulfilled events including, human muppets, clowns, comedians, dancers etc in Udaipur’s different areas.

French Street Theatre Company ‘Colbok’ presented their much praised “Bellerina” at Dhanmandi today. Three artists (2 Men and a Woman) dressed alike, have not only amazed but also equally entertained people of Dhanmandi.

Sometimes they got jolly with basket maker women and sometimes they act heartbreaking with fruit seller who refused to give them an orange. The Bellerinas expressed every mood and behavior of human nature in a most funny way.
