Plenty of onlookers, mostly foreigners were waiting with patience since 8 pm yesterday evening to witness the Bindoli of the Prince of Mewar make its way on the route from Badi Pol to Rao Ji Ka Haata and back to the Palace.
Lakshyaraj Singh, dressed truly like the groom was seated on a lavishly decorated Elephant and with an entourage of 6 horses, a fully functional and elaborately equipped Royal Bagpiper Band, made his was from the Badi Pol gate, reached Jagdish Chowk and shifted mount to a Royal Vintage Car.
There on, he was driven to Rao Ji Ka Hata, where he took the blessings of his father, Shri Arvind Singhji Mewar. Post this; he was again driven back to the Palace.
The entire elaborate entourage was witnessed by hundreds of onlookers, specially curious foreigners who got a chance to witness a part of the Royal wedding procedure.
The onlookers caused a chaos in the area, taking photographs from their mobiles, but the event was carefully controlled and went through without any incident whatsoever.
