Spirit of patriotism roared and soared as Udaipur celebrated India’s 70th Republic Day with lots of fanfare and cultural exhibition. The main function was organised at Gandhi Ground with Divisional Commissioner Bhawani Singh Detha being the Chief Guest.

The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by the ceremonial parade with participation from Police, NCC, Scout, Guides and Police Band.

During the ceremony, the Chief Guest gave appreciation letters to 78 individuals/organisations for their contributions.

Students from various schools also gave their cultural presentations. The audience were also left spellbound by performance from deaf and dumb students.

There were also tableaux from various departments and organizations that depicted their activities and achievements.
