Unsuitable weather conditions at Udaipur resulted in a forced return of the flight carrying Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong from New Delhi to Udaipur.
As per latest updates, the Prime Minister, who was in an Air India operated chartered flight, had to return to New Delhi, following inability to land at Dabok due to bad weather. He is now expected to land at 7:30PM, post which he will be visiting the welcome ceremony to be at The Celebration Mall.
Earlier during the day, PM Lee met PM Modi and asserted full support to India in condemning the Uri attack. PM Lee is accompanied by his wife Ho Ching apart from a number of key ministers and senior officials. Delegation also includes Minister of Trade and Industry S Iswaran, Acting Minister of Education and Senior Minister of State for Defence, Ong Ye Kung, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Maliki Bin Osman, the External Affairs Ministry of Singapore said.
