Pratap Jayanti: Three days free entry to Moti Magri
On the 474th Jayanti of Maharana Pratap, the lakeside hill garden Moti Magri known for its giant statue of Maharana Pratap, will be free for three days starting from 31st May for all the visitors.
On the 474th Jayanti of Maharana Pratap, the lakeside hill garden Moti Magri known for its giant statue of Maharana Pratap, will be free for three days starting from 31st May for all the visitors. During these three days, vehicles will be strictly prohibited in Moti Magri and there will be a complete ban on plastic and tobacco products.
Yudhveer Singh Shaktawat, Secretary of Maharana Pratap Smarak Samiti Moti Magri informed, “From 31st May till 2nd June, there will be no entry charges for any visitors. The garden will be open from 7am to 7pm.”
On 31st May at 5.30 am, a religious ceremony will be held in front of the monument, including havan etc. Samiti president Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar and his wife Nivritti Kumari Mewar will be present. On the occasion the bands of Dawoodi Bohra community, Military and Police will perform melodious tunes.
Shaktawat added, “Various social and cultural programs will be held for three consecutive days which will include competitions like poster making, mono act, folk dance and puppet competition.”
Winners will be awarded by Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar in a prize distribution ceremony. On the last day, employees of Samiti will be honored.
