The upcoming Republic Day preparation is in full swing. After the high alert, the Emergency Response Team of ATS inspected the Gandhi Ground and Celebration Mall on Wednesday. The armed force guards have been appointed at various highways of the city.

Superintendent of Police Ajaypal Lamba said that police have been deployed at various points in the city. All the vehicles passing from the toll booths into and outside the city will be monitored. The ERT team will inspect the temples as well.

On the other hand, the scouts and cadets are practicing for the parade at the Gandhi Ground. NCC cadets from schools are marching on the ground for the celebration of the Republic Day on 26^th January 2015.
