Procession Marks Mahesh Navami

On the occasion of Mahesh Navami today, a colorful procession was organized by Maheshwari community under the banner of Maheshwari Yuva Sansthan. Several other programs, including a blood donation camp etc. were also held to mark the event. A fully decorated ‘rath’ with Lord Shiva’s statue was the center of attraction; hundreds of men and women of Maheshwari community participated in the procession which was started from Shree Nath Marg and passed through several areas, including Asthal Mandir, Surajpol, Bapu Bazar and ended at Teej Ka Chowk.
