Udaipur, Oct 22, 2025: The Rajasthan Darpan Association Kuwait (RDA) organized its much-awaited annual celebration “Diwali Milan RDA Connect 2025” at Hotel Avanti Palace, Salmiya, bringing together the vibrant Rajasthani community for an evening of celebrating culture with unity and joy.

The event commenced with the national anthems of India and Kuwait, filling the hall with a spirit of pride and harmony. The ceremonial lighting of the lamp was performed by Om Prakash Handa (Garage Highway Enterprise),  Dhanpal Panchal (Founder & Chairman, RDA), and Daya Lal Kumhar (President, RDA), marking an auspicious beginning.

The audience was treated to a series of cultural performances, starting with a delightful Ganpati Vandana dance by young performers Natasha Sharma, Inaya Gehlot, and Sanvi Kachhawaha. Renowned Rajasthani singer Sonu Gahlot captivated the crowd with his soulful rendition of “Kesariya Balam,” followed by a graceful Ghoomar dance by Deepika Kedawat and Shruti Gehlot.

The program was eloquently hosted by Chanda Sharma, Lakshmi Kachhawaha, and Amit Dohara, with support from Arjun Thakur. Together, they celebrated Rajasthan’s heritage and the contributions of its diaspora in Kuwait.

In the organizational address, Dhanpal Panchal shared RDA’s inspiring journey and achievements, while Daya Lal Kumhar outlined the association’s future plans, including the launch of the RDA website and mobile app aimed at connecting over 5000+ active Rajasthani members. He also highlighted the upcoming 1st Pravasi Rajasthani Day, scheduled for December 10, 2025, in Jaipur, inviting all members to participate.

A technical presentation of the RDA digital platforms was given by Satish Panchal, followed by a felicitation ceremony for newly elected committee members. Distinguished guests including Om Prakash Handa, Savio Francis and  Abdul Razak (Badr Medical Center) participated in presenting badges, appointment letters and traditional Mewari Pagdis.

The event’s success was made possible through the generous sponsorship of Al Muzaini Exchange, the official event partner. A lively raffle draw added excitement, with lucky winners Vipul Gaur, Vallabh Tailor, and Himtu Arjun Bhatiya receiving attractive prizes.

RDA also extended heartfelt appreciation to representatives from fellow Indian associations in Kuwait, including Patidar Association, Bhatia Association, Pipa Shatriya Darji Samaj Association, Shree Shriyade Prajapati Seva Samiti Kuwait Association, and Kuwait Foundation, for their continued community cooperation.

In his vote of thanks, Vice President Kunal Dalmia expressed gratitude to all guests, sponsors, performers, and volunteers for making the event a grand success. The evening concluded with a sumptuous dinner, symbolizing unity and festive togetherness.
