On Sunday, 17 March, the Bindaas Foundation hosted its 2024 edition of RANGOTHON 5.0, Udaipur’s Biggest Cycling Marathon with Natural Holi Color Celebration, and what an incredible experience it was! With over 300 participants of all ages, ranging from 5 to 65 years old, it truly was a celebration of community, fitness, and eco-conscious living.

This season marked a milestone as EPIROC Mining India Pvt Ltd. joined us as the title sponsor, adding even more excitement to the event. Their mission of promoting a healthy lifestyle through cycling and raising awareness about natural Holi colors was embraced by everyone who joined them on this journey.

The 20km cycling marathon along the scenic routes to Southland Hotel at Fatehpura was a sight to behold, starting off with a vibrant warm-up and aerobic session by the Arunyaa Yoga Center team. The Anchor, Pratiksha Dave, set the tone for the day, and the marathon was flagged off by Chief Guest, Kuldeep Singh Rao, Vice Captain of the Indian Tennis Ball Cricket and international Gold Medalist.

Bindaas welcomed many first-time cyclists who embraced the spirit of the event with enthusiasm, and it was heartwarming to see participants of all skill levels come together to enjoy the journey. Special thanks to the 50+ members of EPIROC who added to the energy and excitement of the day!

The hydration points during the marathon turned into impromptu dance floors, with people grooving to the beat of the dhol, spreading joy and laughter along the way. Even students from Princeton University joined in on the fun!

Upon reaching the venue, the volunteers extended a warm welcome, and participants enjoyed a healthy breakfast before indulging in the festivities. From dancing to traditional Holi tunes to playing with natural colors, the joyous atmosphere was infectious!
