State Schools to Celebrate Maharana Pratap Coronation Day on Feb 28
Maharana Pratap’s Coronation Day will be celebrated on February 28 in all government and private schools across Rajasthan; Education Department issues guidelines ensuring Board exams remain unaffected
Udaipur, Feb 24, 2026 - The coronation day of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap will be celebrated on February 28 in all government and private schools across Rajasthan. The Education Department has issued official guidelines for the celebration. The event was already mentioned in the Shivrira Panchang.
According to the instructions, the celebration will be organised without affecting the schedule of Board examinations for Classes 5, 8, 10 and 12. During the morning assembly, inspirational incidents from the life of Maharana Pratap, patriotic songs and motivational thoughts will be presented.
On this occasion, schools will organise activities such as essay writing competitions, quizzes, poster-making and other creative events based on the life of Maharana Pratap at the school level.
