On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima today, several programs and activities were conducted in temples and educational organization. The day, dedicated to the vital bond between a student and his teacher, was celebrated both traditionally and religiously.

On the auspicious occasion of Guru Purnima today, several programs and activities were conducted in temples and educational organization. The day, dedicated to the vital bond between a student and his teacher, was celebrated both traditionally and religiously.

It is also widely believed Maharshi Ved Vyas had completed Chatur Veda viz. Rig, Yazur, Sama and Athar on this particular day.

Aishwarya College hosted a program on this occasion where educationist Professor N.K Dashora, Dr. Vijaylaxmi Parmar (Principal) and Shilpa Saxena addressed the students and explained the importance of this day.

A program was also organized at Narayan Seva Sansthan today. Patients were distributed prasad and the high priest Pandit Acharya Shree Ramsharma was remembered on the occasion.

Kailash Manav, founder of the organization shed light on the importance of a Guru in one’s life.

In a program organized at Pioneer School, Debari, students honored the teachers by offering tilak and garland and reciting Guru Vandana.

School Prinicipal, Jyotsana Jain informed that students made a lot of effort in presenting every program and were offered blessings by their teachers.

In MDS School, the students presented various cultural programs including reciting Guru Vandana and even enacting a small play. In the end, the Principal, Dr Nidhi Mahe, talked to students about the significance of the occasion and gave her best wishes to the faculty and student community on the occasion.
