Sikh community marks Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti
Sikh community of Udaipur marked the 348th Birth Anniversary of the 10th Sikh Guru Guru Gobind Singh with full zest and devotion. Several social and cultural programs were organized at the Gurudwaras since morning.
Sikh community of Udaipur marked the 348th Birth Anniversary of the 10th Sikh Guru – Guru Gobind Singh with full zest and devotion. Several social and cultural programs were organized at the Gurudwaras since morning.
The programs which were started more than a week ago concluded today. According to Tejendra Singh Robin, president of Gurudwara Sachcha Khand Durbar informed that the programs were started from 24th Dec and continued till 3rd Jan. Robin said that from 5th Jan Akhand Path Sahib was started which ended today.
Devendra Singh Pahawa, president of Shree Gurusingh Saheb Gurudwara Shastri circle informed that, Langar was started today afternoon at Gurudwara compound. Before that, kirtan was conducted in the morning. The program continued till late evening.
Several sportsmen, students and social workers were also honored in the cultural program at Sikh Colony.
