Sikh Community marks Gurunanak Jayanti
The Sikh community of Udaipur marked the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, the birth day of the Guru Nanak, the 1st Guru and Founder of Sikhism today.
The Sikh community of Udaipur marked the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, the birth day of the Guru Nanak, the 1st Guru and Founder of Sikhism today.
The celebration was observed at various places of the city including the Gurudwara at Sikh Colony, Guru Nanak School, near Shastri Circle and other institutes and organizations.
A procession was also held today where a large number of people participated and expressed their devotion.
Series of religious and cultural programmes were started a week before including the Kirtan at Gurudwara Sachhakhand Durbar at Sikh Colony. The Akhand Path was done by Santok Singh and his group from Delhi.
A blood donation camp was organized at Sikh Colony today where 101 units blood were donated.
The community feast of Langar was also held at all the Gurudwaras of the city.
