Tourists visiting Udaipur were welcomed at city railway station today by the members of Lions Club (Maharana) who applied customary tilak mixed with the soil of Haldi Ghati, to commemorate the sacrifice of Maharana Pratap in the battle of Haldi Ghati.

The program of tilak was organized by Udaipur Municipal Corporation and Mewar Kshatariya Mahasabha.

In the series of different programs organized by local communities and administration, Pahal Sansthan remembered Jhala Maan Singh, one of the close associate of Maharana Pratap.

Group founder Jyotsana Jhala and number of volunteers gathered at the monument of Jhala Maan Singh and offered flowers.
