Diyas embellishing each house, vibrant lights illuminating the markets, kids cheering with joy as the crackers burst out – Yes, its Diwali time!

The Grand-Fest of Diwali was celebrated with zeal and enthusiasm among the Udaipurites. People exchanged gifts, sweets and paid visit to their friends and relatives to greet them.

Elders of the homes were seen placing earthen lamps in and out of the house after the Pooja. Thereafter, kids started bursting crackers which continued till late in the night.

Every famous market was glittering with decoration, whereas people were seen shopping for crackers, sweets and gifts even in the evenings. Designer sweets, gifts and clothes were the most-sold items this Diwali.
