Udaipur Diwali Gate Decoration Contest Winners Announced
36 tent businesses participate across two categories; cash prizes range from Rs 1,25,000 to Rs 15,000

Udaipur, Oct 29, 2025 - The district administration and Udaipur Nagar Nigam yesterday announced the results of the Welcome Gate Decoration Competition held at major city intersections on the occasion of Diwali.
Additional District Collector (City) Jitendra Ojha informed that a total of 36 tent businesses participated in the competition, with 10 in the first category and 26 in the second category. In the first category, the jury declared the welcome gate installed by Apsara Tent House at Delhi Gate Chowk as the first prize winner.
Similarly, the welcome gate by Raj Kamal Tent House at Delhi Gate Jyoti Store received second place, and Decor Tent House at Chetak Circle secured third place. The three winners will be awarded cash prizes of Rs 1,25,000, Rs 1,00,000, and Rs 75,000 respectively.
In the second category, the welcome gate at Bohra Ganesh Ji by Vinayak Tent House won first place, the gate on Mali Colony Road by Raj Lakshmi Tent House won second place and the one at Durga Nursery circle by Sharma Tent House secured third place.
Winners in the second category will receive cash prizes of Rs 75,000, Rs 51,000, and Rs 31,000 respectively, while the remaining participants will be awarded Rs 15,000 each.
