Udaipur Municipal Corporation (UMC) has finally declared the names of celebrities and artists going to perform in the upcoming Diwali Dussehra Fair which is going to start from Oct 25^th – Nov 3^rd at Town Hall Garden.

Corporation withdrew the names of celebrities Vanshika Gaud and Drishti Dhami who were earlier expected to perform in the celebrity nights. However, Corporation has agreed on the names of Surendra Sharma (Poet), Mauli Dave (Indian Idol Fame), Yashika Sharma (Singer), Shakti Mohan (Dance India Dance Fame), Pratap Faujdar (Comedian), Dilbaagh Singh and Sunny Mastana (Punjabi Singers). Many singers of Indian Idol are also going to perform.

Corporation’s Cultural Committee has agreed on the names of artists but the final agreement is yet to be done.

Every evening of the event is named as per the theme viz. Local Talents Night (25^th Oct), Rajasthani Night (26^th oct), Kavi Sammelan (27^th Oct), Singer Night (28^th Oct), Bhakti Night (29^th Oct), Punjabi Night (30^th Oct) and Bollywood Night (31^st Oct).

It is also the first time that UMC has come up with Bhakti night dedicated to spirituality. The names of artists going to perform in Bhakti Night are yet to be finalized.

Auditions for local talents will be start from 16^th Oct at Corporation’s premises.

The meeting of cultural committee was held in the direction of Mayor Rajni Dangi. All concerned corporartors and members of Cultural Committee were present in the meeting.
