Nov 21, 2025 – Mexico’s Fatima Bosch is Miss Universe 2025. As the ceremony concluded on Friday in Nonthaburi, Thailand, Fatima was crowned the 74th Miss Universe at a grand ceremony.  The crown was conferred on her by Miss Universe 2024 - Victoria Kjær Theilvig from Denmark.

The first, second, third, and fourth runner-ups were Thailand's Praveenar Singh, Venezuela's Stephany Abasali, Philippines' Ma. Ahtisa Manalo, and Cote d'Ivoire's Olivia Yace, respectively.

The 25-year-old Mexican was overwhelmed by emotions after her name was announced as winner. During the course of the pageant, Fatima had come into the limelight since she was publicly called a “dumbhead” and berated by a Thai pagent director for allegedly failing to post promotional content. This had triggered a walkout by her and other contestants.

India’s Manika Vishwakarma, who hails from Sri Ganganagar, failed to make it to the top 12 despite being the first to advance to the top 30.

Miss Universe 2025 will reportedly take home $250,000 (roughly Rs 2.2 crore). According to sources, she will get an apartment in New York City and receive a salary of $50,000 (approximately Rs 44 lakh), which will be spent on her travels and other campaigns.

The Miss Universe 2026 pageant will be held in Peurto Rico.
