Pratyusha Banerjee was not in a live-in relationship

Pratyusha Banerjee was not in a live-in relationship with Rahul Raj Singh, declared her mother. Pratyusha committed suicide last year. Her mother Soma Banerjee has said that Pratyusha was not in a live-in relationship instead she was under emotional pressure from Rahul and it is Rahul who killed her daughter.

On the occasion of first death anniversary of Pratyusha, her friend Kamya Punjabi and other family and friends were present with Soma Banerjee and her husband Shankar Banerjee. Soma and Shankar Banerjee asked the media about Rahul’s connection with Pratyusha. They raised questions on their relationships and concluded that Pratyusha was not in a live-in relationship with Rahul. They said that initially Rahul was living with all of them. He tricked Pratyusha into staying away from parents, started living with her and this was termed by just everyone as a live-in. They have accused Rahul of betraying their daughter and ultimately killing her.

When singer Harshdeep Kaur sang Pratyusha’s favourite number “Jo bheji thi dua” during the prayer ceremony, her mother started weeping bitterly. She said that no one on this earth can understand a mother’s pain. It is an unbearable task for her to live without her daughter, she added.

Pratyusha rose to fame from the TV serial “Balika Vadhu” in which she played “Anandi”. She was found hanging in her apartment in April 2016. The post-mortem reports said that she died because of choking.
