Ranbir Kapoor, the “Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani” star was supposed to be present at the Udaipur Sessions Court today as the court had released an Istagasa against him on 31^st May for smoking at Gangaur Ghat, a public place on 28^th May. The star did not show up for the hearing that was scheduled today.

The hearing has now been postponed to 26^th July.

A bail-able case was registered by the Ghanta Ghar Police station on the directions of Udaipur Court under the Rajasthan Anti-Smoking Act after one local resident, Harish Vaishnav lodged the complaint against the actor.

The actor had been filming in Udaipur last month for his latest project “Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani” with Deepika Padukone, when the Istagasa was released against him for this offence.
