A tribute to an year of success and working towards various social causes was celebrated by the Rotary Club (Meera). The special division for women had organized a small but vibrant get together at the Conference Hall of RKay Mall.

President Dr. Veena Sanadhya’s tenure at Rotary Meera also honored by the members of the club along with representatives of the media and all those who supported or contributed to Rotary Meera’s projects.

Spine Surgeon Dr. Chirayu Pamecha, who is also the founder member of Save a Child Trust was present on this occasion as Guest of Honor while the Chief Guest was CA Nirmal Singhvi.

In a series of speeches presented by the Board members and Chief Guest, the most common subject was the commendable work by Rotary Meera and great leadership by Dr. Veena Sanadhya all through the year.

“I always enjoyed being with Meera members and it was one of the most beautiful memories I have. Though it is always a challenge to lead any group, but because of support from our members, it was a pleasure being President” Dr. Veena told UT.

Offering her service as a lecturer at Meera Girls College, Dr. Sanadhya is associated with many social service groups.

For their extended support in covering Rotary Meera’s activities, Zaheer Abbas (UdaipurTimes.com) and Prasun Banerjee (UdaipurBlog.com) were honored.

The program was ended with a Vote of thanks by Devika Singhvi, Secretary of Rotary Meera.
