A crew of six youngsters reached Udaipur today morning in their transportable café. The cafe named as ‘Bean Here Bean There’ has an interesting concept of storytelling and interacting with strangers in unknown cities.

With the dream of making friends and sharing stories, they started from Chandigarh on Sep 15^th gearing their first ever tour.

Sukhmani, a crew member said, “Storytelling, personal interaction and spending time together has lost its charm these days due to the concept of Metro life. Our major aim is to regenerate the concept of storytelling.”

These people are also documenting the tour in small parts and will come up with a short documentary at the end of the trip.

Rameez, another crew member and a freelancer says, “Apart from interacting with people from different cities, it also gives us the time and space to sit, interact, enjoy and travel together.”

The guys have come up with a concept of gift economy, which means the one who comes to the restaurant will not be charged anything for his meal, but if he wishes, he could gift a meal to some other person who will visit the café further as the meal he had was also gifted by someone else.

Also, the people in various cities are asked about what they know about their town and why the particular thing they are talking about is so special to them. There interaction even reveals the unidentified aspects, which even the localities were not aware of.
