On the occasion of the Republic Day, Lakecity press club-11 and Janardanrai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth(JNRVU)-11 played a friendly match in which JNRVU-11 emerged winner. Thereafter, a cultural program was organized at Lok Kala Mandal in the evening.

The match was inaugurated on Saturday morning by Chancellor of JNRVU, Professor Bhawani Shankar Garg. Press club bated first and gave a target of 123 runs which university team achieved after a loss of 6 wickets. At the end of the match, JNRVU Vice-Chancellor SS Sarangdevot, Ward Councilor Ajay Porwal, Congress leader Pankaj Sharma etc distributed awards to the winners.

In the cultural program in the evening, Udaipur MP Raghuveersingh Meena was invited as the Chief Guest. In the program, journalists and kids presented many colorful performances. On the occasion, senior journalists Sanjay Khabya and Rafique M Pathan were felicitated and kids were surprised with some gifts. Program ended with dinner treat.
