Dadhich becomes the new State President of JAR
A state level meeting held at the Medical College Jodhpur, under the banner of the Journalist Association of Rajasthan (JAR) where the 11 point proposal related to concerns of journalists was finalised by JAR members. This 11 point proposal will be presented to the Chief Minister, for him to address those issues.

In this meeting Sant Devnath Yogi (Rajasthan High Court Advocates Association) said that there are continuous news of attacks on journalist by antisocial elements, which should not be tolerated. He also demanded the security of the journalist by the Administration on this matter.
Meeting President, Advocate Ranjeet Joshi assured the journalist that free legal aid should be provided to them.
In the meeting, Umendra Dadhich was elected as the State president and Dr. Surendra Sharma as General Secretary.
Former Maharaja of Sirohi, Maharao Raghuveer Singh on this occasion honoured the personnel for excellence in their work in different fields.
Representatives from Udaipur, Dinesh Gothwal, Harish Paliwal, Ravi Gothwal, Yash Garg and many other journalists were present at the meeting, in which Harish Paliwal asked that News web portals should be registered under DIPR and local news channels should be either stooped for their self governance or must be put under strict vigilance of the senior Journalists.
JAR members should be preferred in the allotment of the plots, prior permission should be taken by the District Collector before registering any case against the journalists and Journalists (JAR) must be given preference while staying at “Dak Bunglow”.
