Ex-Serviceman Cooperation to start in August

Sainik Nigam organized for ex-servicemen is likely to start next month. Most of the formalities regarding this have been completed by the Department of Sainik Welfare.

 

Sainik Nigam organized for ex-servicemen is likely to start next month.  Most of the formalities regarding this have been completed by the Department of Sainik Welfare.

Sainik Nigam was registered along with the declaration of budget in March 2012 under the name of Ex-Serviceman Cooperation Ltd.

Department of Sainik Welfare has given the post of first Managing Director of the Cooperation to Director of Sainik Welfare and also Officials of the welfare department were called to Jaipur Head-Office to complete the legal procedure.

This cooperation will benefit approximately two hundred ex-servicemen of the state including those of Udaipur.  They will get jobs in Government Departments directly through the cooperation for which, they will have to register with it.

At present they get employment in any organization through registered societies of Ex-Servicemen.  In Udaipur District, Rajsamand is expected to benefit the most out of this cooperation because it has the maximum number of Ex-Servicemen.

There are sixty one registered societies in the state to provide employment to these veteran officials out of which eighteen are in Jaipur and ten in Kota.
