The Deputation Ceremony of the Innerwheel Club, Udaipur for the new session 2012-13 was held today. Hemant Kumar Jain, District & Session Judge was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Chandraprabha Modi, Ex-District Chairman swore in Madhu Sood as the President, Shakuntala Dhakad as Secretary and others members for their working council. Twenty-one new members were also sworn in by Modi on the occasion.

The Special Guest on the occasion, Dr. Lata Chaudhary, member of State Women’s Commission, suggested that the club should organize camps for awareness of law among women. “Women must have an equal say in every decision made by men,” she added.

Jain also highlighted the problems faced by the present society. He praised Udaipur for its beauty but expressed concern over female feticide, encroachments, and various other problems affecting every wake of people’s life.

Jain concluded his talk saying, “Organizations like Innerwheel Clubs will have to come forward for proper implementation of law”.
