Hundred Rupee Bass Studs, a new metallic band in the town performed today at the Panna Vilas Restaurant and Lounge. Every Friday night at Panna Vilas is organized on some theme, as Udaipurites get charged up for the weekend, the night with some unplugged music made it more interesting.

The band was shaped one year back in 2011, comprising of some students having keen interest in metallic music. The band includes, Sumit Parikh (Lead Guitarist), Monish Grover (Rhythm Guitarist), Tarun Joel (Base guitarist) and Franklin on Drums. The fascinating element of the band is that the drummer is a seventh class student and the rest are also school students, with Sumit an engineering student.

The band will officially take bookings for performances from January 2013. Favorite songs that the band likes to play include, Fade to Black, 21 Guns, Red Neck etc. Hundred Rupee Bass Studs are inspired from international bands of Metallica and Lamb of God.
