It was a pleasant surprise for many of the board members of Udaipur Mitra Mandal (UMM), Ahmedabad in their meeting held on 14 December at the residence of UMM President, Jaswantlal Bordia.

The special invitees of the meeting were Gulabchand Kataria (Former Home Minister, Rajasthan), Dalpat Surana and Pramod Samar from Udaipur.

The meeting was attended by board members and past presidents, along with their families. Many of the members happen to be good old friends with the special invitees. Jaswantlal Bordia and Vikas Duggad on behalf of UMM welcomed them and introduced to all.

Gulabchand Kataria, Dalpat Surana and Pramod Samar remembered the old times spent together with some of the UMM members at Udaipur and expressed their memories.

They also interacted with all other members. As elections in Gujarat lie around the corner; Kataria also emphasized on the importance of voting.

During the meeting it was decided to conduct a New Year-cum-Kite Festival program of UMM on 6^th Jan 2013, Sunday. Sanjay Kothari, Arun Kothari, Madhu Duggad, along with the Cultural committee will coordinate the same.

Vote of Thanks was given by Sushil Choudhary. The meeting was followed by gala dinner.
