A conference on the subject ‘Paralysis – Prevention and Cure’ was organized on Thursday by the Rotary Club Udaipur at Rotary Bajaj Bhawan where Dr Atulabh Vajpayee, Senior Neurologist at GBH American Hospital, was invited as a Chief Speaker.

During his speech, he informed about several causes of paralysis, remedies to cure paralysis and thoroughly explained the symptoms of the disease.

He said that paralysis is one of the biggest disease causing deaths in the world. “Earlier it used to be heart related diseases but now paralysis has taken its place.  Every year more than 7 lac people die because of paralysis”, he said.

“Due to unawareness among the people, they ignore the symptoms of paralysis. Through Angiography and Angioplasty, blood clots can be detected and removed”, he added.

The program ended with a Vote of thanks delivered by Secretary of Rotary club, O P Sehlot.
