A two-day conference, Avirat – 2013, of District-3050 of Rotary Club Udaipur will be organized at MLSU auditorium on 26th and 27th January.

A two-day conference, Avirat – 2013, of District-3050 of Rotary Club Udaipur will be organized at MLSU auditorium on 26th and 27th January.

Conference Chairman Associate Prantpal, Ramesh Chaudhary informed that in the morning of January 26 at 8 AM, teams coming from Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat will be registered. At 10 AM, inauguration ceremony will be organized where the Chief Guest will be Rashtrasant Vasant Vijay Krishnagiri.

From 2 PM till 5 PM, two business conferences will be organized. At 5:30 PM, a meeting of vocational group, led by Ashish Desai, will be organized. Thereafter, election will be conducted for the selection of 7 Provencial Heads of the 3 new districts which will come into existence on July 1, 2015.

Club Head, Sushil Banthiya informed that in the conference, two GSE teams from USA and three teams from Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and USA from Rotary Exchange Program will also remain present in the conference.

In the program, 2500 people are expected to arrive, 1200 have already registered for the conference; staying facilities for the arriving guests by the Hotels and Dharmshalas have already been arranged. Chairman of the Cultural Committee, R K Sukhwal said that at 8 Pm in the evening, Indian Idol fame Charu Semwal and Charit Dikshit will perform along with a few laughter and standup comedy programs.

Under Study Exchange Program, a team from USA’s North Carolina reached Udaipur and it was welcomed by Rotary member, U S Chauhan. The warm welcome received by the team as part of Rajasthani idea of ‘Padharo Mhare Des’ amazed the guests. The team has come to India to learn about Indian culture and lifestyle.
